Teresa's Story
Teresa is currently a student, but she will soon graduate. While many her age are primarily focused on their own future, Teresa has a special dream: she wants to share her knowledge.
She wants to help children in Zambia who often lack easy access to education. She is particularly passionate about helping the youngest children – because she wants to teach them how to read and write the alphabet and give them the basics of arithmetic.
For Teresa, education means hope. She knows that when children learn the alphabet and their times tables, entirely new opportunities open up for them in life. That's why she supports the Cherubim Foundation – because she is convinced that every child deserves a fair chance at learning and a better future.

Teresa’s Geschichte
Teresa ist momentan noch Schülerin, doch schon bald wird sie ihren Schulabschluss machen. Während viele in ihrem Alter hauptsächlich an ihre eigene Zukunft denken, hat Teresa einen besonderen Traum: Sie möchte ihr Wissen weitergeben.
Sie hat den Wunsch, Kindern in Sambia zu helfen, die oft keinen einfachen Zugang zu Bildung haben. Besonders die Jüngsten liegen ihr am Herzen – denn sie möchte ihnen beibringen, wie man das Alphabet liest und schreibt, und ihnen die Grundlagen des Rechnens vermittelt.
Für Teresa bedeutet Bildung Hoffnung. Sie weiß: Wenn Kinder das ABC und das 1x1 lernen, öffnen sich für sie ganz neue Möglichkeiten im Leben. Deshalb unterstützt sie die Organisation „Cherubim-Foundation“ – weil sie überzeugt ist, dass jedes Kind eine faire Chance auf Lernen und eine bessere Zukunft verdient.
Christine
A Chef with a Heart for Zambia
Christine is a trained chef and has worked for many years in various upscale hotels. She knows fine cuisine, international recipes, and the art of creating something special from quality ingredients.
But at some point, she realized that something was missing: not the glamour of Michelin-starred restaurants, but direct contact with people who truly need their meals. When she heard about the Cherubim Foundation, she knew immediately that she wanted to use her skills there.
Today, Christine supports the organization by cooking for people in need and sharing her knowledge. She shows young people how to create nutritious and delicious dishes from simple ingredients, while also learning about the diversity of Zambian cuisine herself.
For Christine, it's more than just cooking—it's a piece of hope and a sign that love can be shared through a warm meal.

Eine Köchin mit Herz für Zambia
Christine ist gelernte Köchin und hat viele Jahre in verschiedenen gehobenen Hotels gearbeitet. Sie kennt die feine Küche, internationale Rezepte und die Kunst, aus guten Zutaten etwas Besonderes zu zaubern.
Doch irgendwann merkte sie, dass ihr etwas fehlte: nicht der Glanz der Sterne-Restaurants, sondern der direkte Kontakt zu Menschen, die ihre Mahlzeiten wirklich brauchen. Als sie von der Organisation “Cherubim-Foundation” hörte, wusste sie sofort, dass sie ihre Fähigkeiten dort einsetzen möchte.
Heute unterstützt Christine die Organisation, indem sie für Bedürftige kocht und gleichzeitig ihr Wissen weitergibt. Sie zeigt jungen Menschen, wie man aus einfachen Zutaten nahrhafte und leckere Gerichte zaubert, und erlernt dabei selbst die Vielfalt der sambianischen Küche.
Für Christine ist es mehr als Kochen – es ist ein Stück Hoffnung und ein Zeichen, dass Liebe durch eine warme Mahlzeit weitergegeben werden kann.
Gerald
Gerald was born in Lusaka, Zambia, and grew up in a simple but loving family. From an early age, he experienced firsthand how harsh life in rural areas can be – a lack of clean water, limited educational opportunities, and few prospects for young people.
When Gerald learned about the Cherubim Foundation project, which aims to create a self-sufficient village with its own energy, agriculture, and education, he was deeply moved. For him, it was more than just a construction project – it was a vision of hope and self-determination for his homeland.
"I've seen how people struggle to have the bare necessities," says Gerald. "This project gives us the opportunity not only to survive, but to thrive."
Impressed by the idea of empowering people through sustainability, Gerald joined the organization. For him, it's a matter of the heart to help shape Zambia's future – brick by brick, plant by plant, hope by hope.

Beeindruckt von der Idee, Menschen durch Nachhaltigkeit unabhängig zu machen, trat Gerald der Organisation bei. Für ihn ist es eine Herzenssache, die Zukunft Sambias mitzugestalten – Stein für Stein, Pflanze für Pflanze, Hoffnung für Hoffnung.
Emmah
